MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Our knives come with a lifetime warranty. However, to ensure your knife serves you for many years, you need to take proper care of it.
If you follow the instructions below, your ACTA NON VERBA knife will last a lifetime. However, if you can, have your knife maintained and sharpened by a professional.
SHARPENING
Use sharpeners from our range. You can also use a sanding belt, a flat grinding stone with a suitable grain size for both dry and underwater grinding. Flats, bars, discs, sleeves or "V" sharpeners. Use leather pull strips for perfect sharpening.
When sharpening, use the accessories and oils recommended by the sharpening tool manufacturer.

CLEANING
After each use, clean the knife with a damp cloth. In case of greater contamination of the knife or sheath (e.g. with blood, dust, sand, etc.), use a jet of running water. Then wipe it thoroughly with a dry cloth and lubricate all parts. It is recommended to disassemble, dry and lubricate folding knives after cleaning with water.
Never use chemical cleaners, fuels or detergents containing abrasives.
Do not wash in the dishwasher!

If the Kydex sheath is dirty with blood, dust, sand, etc., use a jet of running water. For such cases, the Kydex sheath is equipped with a cleaning hole.
The Kydex sheath can be treated with knife maintenance oil or silicone oil.
For leather cases, simply treat them with a suitable leather care lotion containing beeswax.

Do not wash the knife or the sheath in the dishwasher.
Do not use the knife as a screwdriver.
